Position Title: Director of Marketing
Reports to: Chief Sales & Marketing Officer
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid – 3 days/week in-office)
Base Salary: $95,000 – $110,000 (commensurate with experience and qualifications) plus benefits and bonus
Position Summary
Join an innovative and growing B2B energy efficiency and renewable solutions provider, and help shape the marketing function from the ground up. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Director of Marketing will lead the execution, measurement, and optimization of multi-channel campaigns that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support the company’s go-to-market strategy.
This role requires a hands-on marketing leader who is both strategic and execution-oriented. The ideal candidate is data-driven, creative, and highly organized—with a blend of digital marketing, content development, graphic design, and web management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Management
- Plan, execute, and analyze multi-channel campaigns across digital, social, and email platforms.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and agency partners to define strategy and messaging aligned with business goals.
Website Management
- Manage the company website in partnership with an external agency.
- Ensure a seamless user experience, update content regularly, and optimize landing pages and lead forms to increase conversions.
Graphic Design & Content Creation
- Design and develop high-impact marketing assets including one-pagers, case studies, brochures, and presentations.
- Create tailored messaging and visual content for target audiences and multiple channels.
Event Marketing
- Source and coordinate strategic events and conferences in collaboration with the sales team.
- Drive pre-, during-, and post-event engagement via email, social, and advertising.
Social Media Management
- Own the content calendar and posting strategy for the company’s LinkedIn presence.
- Highlight thought leadership, company culture, industry news, and announcements.
Executive Reporting
- Measure and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and campaign ROI.
- Provide data-driven insights to support marketing and sales decisions.
Market Research
- Monitor industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to inform marketing strategy.
Budget Management
- Track and report on marketing and sales-related expenses to ensure ROI and budget adherence.
Brand Management
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines.
- Ensure visual and messaging consistency across all channels and materials.
Sales Operations Support
- Support the sales team with marketing materials and proposal content.
- Assist with award submissions, bid packages, and process documentation as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–7 years of B2B marketing experience, preferably in energy, technology, or related sectors
- Strong graphic design skills utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro
- Experience managing websites (WordPress preferred), landing pages, and analytics platforms
- Proficiency in CRM and marketing tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and Google Analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience crafting content for a variety of audiences
- Strong organizational and project management abilities with a sharp eye for detail
- Proven ability to work both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field required
