Senior Business Development Manager

Position Summary

This high-profile role reports directly to the Regional Vice President of Sales. The candidate will sell Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) by utilizing a robust network within the various target sectors and verticals and having a proven record of influencing C-suite decision-makers. A background in real estate, finance, energy, or a related field will be advantageous. Immediate impact and a driven approach to market penetration are expected.

Responsibilities

  • Strategically drive the development and execution of sales plans to secure and grow Commercial & Industrial client relationships in the target market(s).
  • Perform comprehensive market analyses to uncover growth opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Cultivate enduring relationships with senior-level executives, offering tailored Ecosave solutions that meet their sustainability and financial objectives.
  • Negotiate, and seal agreements with C-suite decision-makers, that satisfy client needs and achieve Ecosave’s business goals.
  • Collaborate closely with project management and technical teams to guarantee the flawless execution of services.
  • Maintain meticulous records of sales activities, consistently analysing and reporting on sales outcomes, pipeline status, and market insights.
  • Elevate Ecosave’s presence and visibility through proactive participation in industry events, conferences, and networking gatherings.

Experience and Skills

Experience

  • At least 10 years of B2B sales experience, with a preference for backgrounds in energy, sustainability, finance, or related fields and experience selling to the C-suite
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets in competitive environments and mentoring team members

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.

Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of the commercial and industrial landscapes in their local market, and across the United States.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong independent work ethic and exemplary team collaboration skills.
  • Deep commitment to sustainability and advancing energy-efficient solutions.

Salary $170k-$190k
